General Purpose of the Job:
Compiles and maintains control records and related files to release blueprints, drawings, and engineering documents to manufacturing and other operating departments by performing the following duties:
Summary of Major Responsibilities/Duties:
Examines documents such as blueprints, drawings, change orders, and specifications to verify completeness and accuracy of data.
Confers with document originators or engineering liaison personnel to resolve discrepancies and compiles required changes to documents.
Posts changes to computerized or manual control records, releases documents, and notifies affected departments.
Maintains related files.
Prepares requests for reproduction of documents.
Operates reproduction equipment.
Prepares reports and memorandums.
Attends weekly customer meetings to ensure all documents are being transmitted properly.
Set up new Projects in CSI and works with the Engineering and Project Management team to ensure all requirements are input and met.
Works with outside vendors as needed to ensure they have all the proper documentation to perform Checking and ensure all documents are sent and received in a timely manner.
Conducts work safely and follows all safety procedures. Rejects work that is not safe and discusses the situation with
