To support the development of Guild Wars 3, the contract Content Designer will collaborate with various teams to define and implement high-quality gameplay content and systems while utilizing Unreal Engine 5 tools in a hybrid work environment. Key responsibilities Collaborate with Level Design, Technical Design, Narrative, Art, and Engineering teams to deliver cohesive player-facing content Implement gameplay experiences using Unreal Engine 5, focusing on iteration and feedback Document tools, pipelines, and content plans while participating in playtests to refine gameplay based on feedback Required qualifications 2+ years of experience in game development with a focus on content design, quest design, or mission gameplay systems Experience implementing gameplay content using Unreal Engine 5 Good understanding of narrative, encounter design, and mission flow Experience playing MMOs and Open World games, particularly Guild Wars 1 and 2 Familiarity with game development practices and pipelines
